I try to find the perfect angle of the most basic and daily objects.
Nestled right in the heart of Church Fenton, North Yorkshire, my back garden enjoys some pretty prime real estate: it backs straight onto an open farmer’s field usually bustling with woolly lawnmowers (a.k.a. sheep), and sits comfortably within earsplittingly short distance of the local pub, the Fenton Flyer. If you listen closely on a warm evening, you can hear a delightful symphony of bleating, pint-clinking, and birdsong.
This site is my personal photo diary dedicated to capturing the daily drama, quiet beauty, and quirky moments of the nature around me.

The Local Residents: The daily garden visitors range from the usual cheerful UK suspects—cheeky robins, busy blue tits, chatterbox sparrows, and sleek blackbirds—to the dramatic drop-ins like pheasants waddling past the fence, sparrowhawks keeping everyone on their toes, and majestic red kites soaring overhead.
Flora & Fauna Up Close: From garden blooms and buzzing pollinators to the strange, hidden bugs patrolling the undersides of leaves, if it grows, crawls, or flies in the yard, I’m snapping a picture of it.
On The Road: While the Fenton-backed plot is home base, I also take my camera on the road. You’ll find photo logs and updates from my travels to other wildlife hotspots and scenic spots across the UK and beyond.
